Lyndle's Story
Life
After a year out of high school, I finally decided to give the retail/landscaping business a rest and go to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I finished there in Â89 with a very useful history degree and returned to the DC area. In 1991 I joined Peace Corps and served as an English teacher for two years in a small town in the eastern part of Hungary. I spent another year teaching English in the middle of the region known as Transylvania in Romania, after which I returned to DC and married the woman I met as a Peace Corps volunteer. while I worked at American University and studied for a masters in public administration. In 2000 I moved to Pristina, Kosovo to work for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in the field of financial management. In the summer of 2005 I moved to Bonn, Germany to work for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
