Barbara's Story

After graduating from high school, I went to Marquette University in Milwaukee and got a degree in medical technology. I met a medical student there who was from New York, and we got married right after he finished medical school. We have lived in St. Paul, Minnesota; Tacoma, Washington; Appleton, Wisconsin; San Antonio, Texas; and now Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We have 4 children ...Expand for more
who now live in the Atlanta area, Reno, and Los Angeles. We have 3 grandchildren with another to be born in October. I work in the chemistry department of a hospital lab. In my spare time, I visit my children! I also like to quilt, make jewelry, garden, hike, and bike. During college, I went to summer school in Valencia, Spain, and would love to live in Europe for a while.
