Karla's Story
After graduation I went to SUNY Morrisville for 1 semester, came home, worked for a couple years with developmentally disabled adults and then moved to Albany in January 1995. I worked in the medical field for 5 years and then finally decided to go back to college and in 2003 I recieved my degree in Nursing. I worked at Albany Medical Center for a year and then went over to St. Peters Hospital to work in the Intensive Care Unit, where I have been since June 2004.

er not speaking to him for 10 years. Long story made short...We got married May 5, 2006 and our daughter Micaela Patricia was born Oct 22, 2006, weeks ahead of schedule, but healthy none the less.
After a brief move back to Kingston, Tom and I have settled in Albany, somewhat. He communtes 90 miles one way to work, so he spends many nights away from home, but he is currently looking to change jobs and be closer to home. I work 7pm-7am every Saturday and Sunday, so I am off all week with Micaela. Never in a million years did I think my life would turn out this way, but I couldn't be happier.
