Life
My wife, Nancy, and I currently live in Columbia, Maryland. r 150 incidents of catastrophic engine failures or multiple engine loss of power events such as the Beechjet dual engine flameout events that identified the threat of high altitude ice crystals to jet engines that was the subject of a front page article in the Wall Street Journal. I also teach the jet engine accident investigation course at the NTSB's Training Center. Imagine, someone named Hookey teaching a class. Prior to NTSB, I was with Pratt & Whitney for 18 years working as a technical representative, product support engineer, and finally a senior project engineer. Between the NTSB and P&W, I have traveled all over the U.S. and the world to Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, and the Pacific Rim.
