Hello, all. I hope this note finds you well and happy with your life. Although I am experiencing some signs of our "advancing" age, I am well and happy with my life. After high school and college, I started teaching history to high school students, given a lack of special ed teachers, I kept being assigned special ed history classes. I had these same students for the entire school year rather than just nine weeks at a time, so I was able to know them better. I was drawn more and more to students in special education (history is the most unpopular subject for students). I then began to work with people of all ages who had one or more developmental disabilities. (That includes people with cerebral palsy, retardation, seizure disorders, etc.) Wonderful people and families.
