A.J.'s Story
Life
I attended Highline Community College after high school, obtaining an AA in Business. Then worked for a corporate enterprise for 4 years. Corporate life wasn't for me. I decided to go back to college to become a Veterinarian. Unfortunatly, working full time to pay for college and studying didn't agree with me. I barely finished my second AA in Chemistry. I abandoned my life-long dream of becoming a doctor and settled as a veterinary technician. I loved it and don't regret a thing!!
In 1999, I ran into an old friend, Michael. We hadn't seen each other ...Expand for more
for 10 years, but hit it off immediately. We moved fast and soon we were married, had a child, and started a small business.
Currently, my husband and I run two businesses. We work together from home to grow them. It has it's challenges and ups and downs, but I wouldn't want to do anything else. I stay home with my two active boys and I'm my own boss (somewhat).
As I get older (and wiser, of course), I can honestly say, life is short. Family and friends are the most important thing to me, and I make a conscience effort to nuture my relationships with them.
