here long when I got recruited to my current job in NC. Interests I spent most of my graduate school time traveling around the US racing my road bike. I spent a little over a year racing as a professional when reality hit and I had to get back to work on my Ph.D. before they kicked me out of the program. I raced in some national championship races and enjoyed some success, but there's not a whole lot of money in cycling unless you are world class, so I've been trying to adjust to life off the bike in the last couple of years. Current interests include the never-ending home improvement, setting up and developing a home business, fishing when I can, keeping in shape and trying to keep in touch with old friends, but I've never been the best wth keeping in touch.
