Aaron's Story
Life
Hello Everyone!
My Name is Aaron Lopez, class of 1984. I'm now 41 years young and growing older and greyer by the minute!
Not much to tell, I've been at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 17 years working for the same company. (Blah, Blah, Blah) I'm a Vice President at the largest Futures Trading Company in the World, in charge of the firm's Electronic Trading Systems.
I certainly miss those lazy afternoons by the lakefront, between classes, with my pals, Sandy Persico, Alvino Durham, Sandy Wall, Nicolette D'Andre, just to name a few. I also miss the winter adventures in the Grant Park Underground Parking lot, on the way to the Daley Bi-Centennial Plaza for ice skating.
These days, I find myself feeling most nostolgic when I take the children fro...Expand for more
m the Salvation Army Homless Shelter ice skating at the Daley Plaza. Once a month, I sponsor a charity event through the Chicago Mercantile Exchange' Community Outreach program; AMICUS, of which I now have been a board member for 13 years. I feel very strongly about giving back to the community because I have much to be grateful for.
I alwasy keep in touch with my best friend Alvino Durham, who now lives in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Each year, I promise that I will be moving down there. I have a passion for the beach and sun.
I'm still single, but keep hoping. I just have no social time for myself anymore as I've devoted myself to my career, charity work and family.
I wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous life.
Kind Regards.
