Aaron's Story
After failing to complete my education at Montrose High. I found it difficult to find my place living and working in Montrose. I decided that the only way to get ahead in life was to take on the greatest challenge that I will never regret. I moved to Phoenix Arizona. I knew nobody. I didn't have any job. But I had drive.
I left Colorado with the one skill that I did learn. I worked in a couple of nursing homes. I had to perform CPR on a resident and it was very traumatic. I decided that this was definitely not for me.
I moved on to a school bus driving job which allowed me to entertain my long time love of driving. To further my future ability, I decided to try driving truck over the road. I saw the entire country barring 6 states of the 48 contiguous. I tired of being away from home and changed over to some local driving.

pany in Arizona and have worked here since. I now enjoy being one of only 4 people in the entire company to deliver all the Power poles around the whole state. I could not dream of finding a better career.
The company is falling on hard times, but I am somewhat confident that I have a position that would be hard to replace.
In February of 2000 I married my friend for life, Liz, and 10 months later we were blessed with our son. Zachary has down-syndrome.
I have a step son that I married into my family. He is now 27 years old and having a difficult time finding work. Wonderful economy.
My life has definitely taken a turn for the better after my move to Arizona. The best part is that I don't have to shovel all the sunshine that falls here everyday.
I lost contact with pretty much all my high school classmates when I moved. I really hope to meet up with some of you all...someday.
