Adam's Story
Much as happened after I graduated. I went to UNO for 2 years. Worked at the Sheraton Hotel, worked at Kmart, worked at JCPenney and then moved to Buffalo, NY. I was in New Orleans when hurricane Katrina hit the city. I was bussed to the Superdome 1 among 10,000 people. We were stranded in the Dome for 5 days. Food and water rationals were passed out to everybody. After 5 days we were boarded on busses and shipped to Fort Worth, Texas. New Orleans was devastated after the hurricane. I stayed in Fort Worth for 6 months. I decided to go back home. I found work at JCPenney in Metairie, near New Orleans. I decided to move to Buffalo, NY to stay with a friend. in Buffalo for a year. I got work in Buffalo. Working at Lowe's hardware store unloading trucks. That is the city I was in when I got into a car accident. I was crossong a street in Buffalo, when some idiot driving hit me. I was in the hospital for a year. My right leg was injured. Miracle is I could still walk. It took a years worth of training by nurses who cared. Afterwards I had my Buffalo friend drive me back home to New Orleans. That was 3 years ago.
