Wacky kid in high school. Very dark side to the moods at times: DeLong and Wubnig (German and English teachers) both gave me Kafka to read. It went to my soul.
So when I woke up later on, having been transformed into a giant dung beetle -- or suddenly having been accused of something -- I wasn't too surprised.

view of politics and politicians and, to some extent, the world.
All music written between about 1890 and 1920 interests me: Satie, Richard Strauss, Debussy, Ravel, Schoenberg, Stravinsky and Scriabine are among the most fascinating.
More and more, I like the writings of John Cage and also those of Friedrich Duerrenmatt, who said the modern world is too mixed up to be viewed as either comic or tragic.
