i am currently attending the Western Wisconsin Technical College in LaCrosse, WI. i am i the Vissual Communications program, it's like TV production type of stuff. it is 11/02/2005 right now and i am in the midst of my second year here. i will be going for a third becuase i changed my major at the end of last year. i was in Graphic Design.
but, for roommates, i haven't had the best of luck. my first one last year, we didnt get along too well. he had totaly different point of views than i did. he moved out half way through the year and i had a room all to myself for the rest. as for this year, bad luck too. my roommate grinds his teeth when he sleeps and watches hours of cartoons every day. not loony toons or anything like that, but Invader Zim, Ren and Stimpy and other nasty cartoons. i dont think anyone...Expand for more
likes him in the dorms. poor kid. as for me though, i am trying to find some one who will actualy room with him, or some one who i can room with. that a long process.
the food in the cafe was not so bad. it was certainly better than the food at high school! but more expensive. i also have a workstudy job for the college. i work for the Physical Plant (shiping and receiving, castodians, maintanence, etc.) delivering packages to different locations on campuss. it pays good and i get a chance to learn where EVERYTHING is on campuss!
my classes are fun, i'm learning a lot! but i've been having some trouble getting out of bed for my math and psychology class! i have 15 credits AND 12 hours of workstudy a week. i know that may not seem like a lot but with all the home work i get, it is!
