After graduating from WC with BA Eng Lit, I immediately became dishwasher in a truck stop (Porter’s Diner close to New Wilmington, PA.) Back in Cleve, Became Grammatical Editor at Union Gospel Press. Then writer-editor at Modern Curriculum Press in Strongsville. Wrote lots of primary school books. Then was Ad writer at Leo Burdett in Chicago, working on Cheer Detergent ads. Then back to Cleve as “Media Relations Director” at WVIZ-TV, PBS on Brookpark Rd. Then became Nightwatchman then Elephant Keeper at Cleveland Zoo for many years!
