Adele's Story
After SVHS I worked full-time as a legal secretary in SV and was engaged to Jimmy Margro. Sadly, Jimmy was killed in Vietnam on May 13, 1969. He was a medic and black beret with the 101st Airborne Unit, and met his demise on Hamburger Hill. He was buried with full military honors.
I met and married Serge Gravel in 1970 and we started our new life in southern NJ, just across the river from Philadelphia. I worked as a paralegal/office manager until 1978 when we had our son, then I stayed home with him and typed court testimony transcripts for the county courthouse reporters for 10 years. red as of today, having closed our cabinet manufacturing company after 33 years in 2007.
Our son has a home-based business transferring old film, slides, and photos to DVD as well as music, old records, etc. to CD. Serge and I work for him part-time helping his business to grow.
I love horseback riding, something I have always wanted to master. I also love to garden, cook, read, and party, especially in Key West where we have a timeshare. We are primarily vegetarians, we live a holistic lifestyle and we are blessed with excellent health!
Would love to hear from some old friends -- one thing I've learned is "There's no place like home!" And NY will always be my home!!!
