Adelheid's Story
After High school, I went to Alaska to work in the Fish Packaging plants for three summers. Went to U of M where I got my Bachelors degree and met my husband, Doug Mann. We dated 5 years then got married in June 1996. We lived in Buhl, Idaho,and then moved back to Missoula and all up the Bitterroot valley to Darby. We moved to Red Lodge, MT 4 years ago. Doug is the K-6 principal and volunteers for the Fire Department. I work in the Finance Department at the hospital, and volunteer for just about everything. We have three goofy kids, Sabrina turned 10 Jan '09, Corby turned 6 August "08, and Malcolm turned 5 Jan '09. They are involved with everything in this town: dance, soccer, baseball, drama, 4-h, Girl scouts, and Hockey. They keep us busy. Doug and I have traveled a great deal to Hawaii, Arizona, Minnesota, all over Canada, Los Veg...Expand for more
as, Seattle, Spokane, and we just returned from New Orleans. We are planning to go to Texas in June, and of course our annual camping trip with the kids to Flathead Lake. My mother still lives in Missoula so we visit there often and still love it! Red lodge is a lot like Missoula except smaller!
I missed the 10 year because my daughter was born 12 weeks premature and was just out of the hospital at reunion time. She has mild right hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy and keeps us busy with her surgeries, physical therapies, and the like. She is Very smart and active, and the only problem she has is a tight tendon in her right leg. We bought a house October '08 and are busy remodeling and making it ours. So I guess you could say we are settled here, and we love it! Hope all of you are doing well and living good lives and most importantly having fun!
