live their own lives and seemed to feel the need to live vicariously through others. People seemed to feed off trouble and turmoil of others too. I was shocked and amazed to discover that the high school mentality is not just a High School ailment - it would appear that fully grown and quite older adults sometimes do not grown up and are stuck in a perpetual immature level of development. College 1991 -Delta College: Stockton CA and took a couple of computer courses. 2002- Bates Technical School: Tacoma WA and took a couple of CSI courses in Contract Administration and Contract Management relative to construction and Architecture Specifications - I discovered I had a knack for it. 2002- Lien Law Classes in Seattle WA 2005 Misc. job training in script writing, software course 2006 Training with PDF Designer & Form Filler Workplace When I lived in California I was a painting contractor for a number of years, I really enjoyed it but I gave it up to become an administrator for an insurance company. When I moved to Washington I landed a very nice job in Seattle as a controller for an editing house, with the crash of the dot com era I found myself out of work. I ended up working for a roofing contractor in Gig Harbor and it seemed like a perfect fit; but due to unforeseeable events and relationships it took a turn for the worse and I found myself making a choice between my new husband or my career with the current company. I made the right choice and left to find a new job. I began my new career at a local housing authority and began as a recepionist and housing assistant then worked my way up to an assistant for the housing manager. Almost a year later my position was changed to admin assistant to the housing director and I was recently promoted to Customer Service Manager but I have retained my previous duty as assistant to the director. I love the work and the challenge. My duties have expanded into, injury claims coordinator, 504 coordinator, safety coordinator/assistant, purchasing agent, labor relations specialist and it spilling into contract administration. In my spare time I teach tribal belly dance at a local dance studio where I have one kids class and an adult class - it's a wonderful release from stress.
