Adria Cary:  

Life November 2007 I attended college at Mississippi University for Women, Columbus, MS (Columbus being the birthplace of Red Barber), ending up with a degree in organ performance. Did graduate work in music theory and library service at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. I was hired as a reference librarian there in 1981 and also met my future husband. I left with him to move to Long Island, NY, and worked at a SUNY college in Nassau County (Old Westbury) for 18 months; ended up as the Acting Budget Director (that's a story in itself!). We moved again in 1987 to River Falls, WI, about 40 miles from St. Paul, MN, and finally landed here in Milwaukee in 1990. Rob was born in 1991. He is a sophomore in high school this year. He plays the cello and electric guitar, and runs cross country and track. I was divorced in 2003 after 16+ years of marriage. My ex (who is remarried) and I live about six blocks from each other.
