Adrienne's Story
Hello gee life has been a real journey. Looking back from 1975 and fast forwarding to 2019 is incredible. I have been married lol three times. #1 deceased #2 quit on being married during the year of 2010. After that marriage I decided to focus on being totally single. Entered college again and graduated with a Masters in Leadership and Management March 2012. Taught Bible college classes for a year. Taught Middle school students for two years. Reconnected with a former romance November 2017. Engaged January 2018 we decided to marry February 14th 2018. Yes we picked up and will be celebrating two years of bliss soon. He's truly is my soul mate. I have twin daughters and five grandchildren and a very dear to my heart Son in law. I took an early retirement as soon as I turned 62. Enjoying my golden life with Bill. Actively still educating myself. Completed an Introduction to becoming a Paralegal course. It was intense but very exciting as well. I felt extremely proud to earn my Certificate...Expand for more
of Completion. I love to study. I love reading books. I enjoy turning those pages. I was inspired by my former teacher Mrs. Ruth Davis. She taught Black History. She once told our class that you must always be YOU. She said learn how to connect with yourself. At this age of 62 I finally understand exactly what she was teaching. Being fully aware of your boundaries your wants needs and desires really matter. I am happy with my spiritual self. I enjoy my relationship with Jehovah. I have studied many religious beliefs. I respect the path that other's follow. However I have come to the conclusion that there is only ONE true abd LIVING God. I love Jesus and embrace the Holy Spirit. I pray everyday yet not as a ritual but sincerely empowering and strengthening my relationship with the attributes of love compassion peace and joy. I am looking forward to our 45th Class Reunion. Also attending the annual Prayer Breakfast in January as well. Life is is be lived. Gee we've come a very long way.
