Adrienne Maurer:  

After high school, I went to IPFW and worked, eventually graduating with a BA in computer technology in 1987. I received an MBA in 2000. I have been married for 34 years, have two children, two step-children, two grandsons, a 2-year old granddaughter and one grand-dog. My children are artists, musicians and a social worker. My south side neighborhood is my passion. I live in a 75 year old home with all of the charm, character and opportunities that come with an older home. My neighborhood is on the National Register of HIstoric Place, something I am extremely proud of. As the neighborhood historian, I love collecting interesting stories about life on my street in years past and those who lived here. I've been at Essex for 27 years, first as a programmer, then as a business systems analyst. My work has taken me to China twice, which was quite an eye-opening experience.
