Agnes's Story
School
I attended school in the Goodman-Armstrong Creek School District from Kindergarten until I graduated in 1983.
I received a BS in Early Childhood Education from UW Stout and at the same time received Elementary Education Certification from UW Eau Claire. I graduated in 1988.
I received my MS in Elementary Education from Viterbo University in 2001.
College
My college years were the best years of my life. I started at UW Stout in the fall of 1983. My major was Early Childhood Education.
I was very involved in student government starting as secretary of my residence hall and then becoming president. I then became secretary of the campus-wide resident hall government and eventually president of the campus resident hall government. I was also a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary and received the Medallion Award for outstanding contributions to UW Stout. I loved band because of my high school band director, Diane Rochon, and played in the UW Stout band for 4 years.

he additional certification that I needed. I then graduated from UW Stout in 1988.
After I began teaching in Crandon, I decided it was time to get my master's degree. I finished that the summer of 2001 and proudly graduated from Viterbo University in LaCrosse.
Workplace
I am currently a fourth grade teacher for the School District of Crandon. I am also the high school forensics coach.
I graduated from UW-Stout/UW Eau Claire in 1988. I spent my first year out of college as a nanny. I lived in Greenwich, CT and nannied for the children of the granddaughter of RJ Reynold's tobacco. Upon returning to Wisconsin, I taught third grade for the Laona School District and was the middle school forensics coach. After my job was eliminated, I got a job for the Forest County Department of Social Services as a Social Worker. I loved the job so much that I stayed for six years. After having my daughter in 1998, I decided to return to the teaching profession and started with the Crandon School District in 1999 as a teacher of gifted and talented children. In 2000 I moved to a fourth grade position and have been there ever since.
