Aj's Story
Life
I am a 23-yr-old college grad, moved to Madison about a year ago. I currently live with 3 guys (Michael age 24, Jason 30, and Ben 32) and 1 girl (Sarah 23). Jason has a dog Shayla who is about 7 yrs old and a big mutt but very cute. Sarah has a gorgeous cat named Voncess, who is black with green eyes. Michael just got a Alaskan Husky puppy who is called "It" at this point until he finally picks out a name for the pooch! I have 2 fish, 2 Gerbils named Garfield and Cleveland, and 3 bouncy bunnies named Leroy Mo, Warren G, and Matty. So we have a freaking houseful at this point!
My bf Ben and I just signed a lease to move into a condo on the East side but still on the Ithsmus not too far from where we live now but further from the crazy college kids! It will be nice to have a place of our own instead of sharing with so many other people. We signed the lease starting July 1st but we have until August 15th to get out of our current house. It will be much easier to slowly move our things to the new place. We just got a new/used glass dining room table that I found online for $35, what a steal! We picked it up yesterday (5/20) and put it near Sarah's table in the dining room of our house until we move. It is gorgeous! It is a glass top table with wood trim and ...Expand for more
has 4 chairs to match.
We are looking forward to the future, so many things will be happening! I just recently started with Mary Kay Cosmetics and so far am really enjoying it. Soon we will get Ben a vehicle of some sort so that I can have my Isuzu back and don't have to ride the Metro transit bus anymore.
We also want to get the boys a new cage or hutch so that they will have more room to live in. I am saving up to get a neat one I saw online. On another happy pet note Warren and Matty seem to be learning to live together better. I actually witnessed Matty grooming Warren while we were watching the WI Women's Rugby club beat Detroit Rugby on Saturday. All 3 of the rabbits had a great time and really got a chance to explore and also relax in the sun while munching on the tasty grass.
Garfield had a traumatic visit to the Animal Emergency Room a few weeks ago, but $250 later he is back to his old self and he and Cleveland are as rambunctious as ever. Its good to see him happy now, since Madison died he was sort of depressed for a while.
On yet another happy note, hopefully I will be announcing some exciting news in the near future... but I'm not going to spill the beans quite yet. Mamma always said "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched!"
