Akemi's Story
Hi everyone! I guess I'm supposed to say what I've been up to for the last century since graduation...
I guess, in a nutshell, I LEFT Beckley, moved to Ft. Stewart in Georgia where I was married. Miko, my sister eventually moved down with me. She met Corey, a great guy, they got married (still married with 4 very cool kids) and they're now stationed in Germany. My marriage lasted for a very short time so after that didn't work out, I moved to Winter Park, Florida, and lived there for a long while(about 10+ years). awaii and eventually, I moved here with them. They left back in 2002 but I loved it here and stayed.
I have never remarried, never had kids. Maybe that will change for me soon, who knows? I work as a videographer here and shoot mostly weddings (go figure) and those events. I love my job. I love Hawaii. By this time next year, though, I plan to be back on the mainland on the west coast. Living here has been an experience! I wouldn't trade that for anything! It seems that you either love it or you hate it...I loved it!
