Al's Story

Hi all, high school ended and the adventure began. Got married out in '72. Enlisted into the Army and served as a medic/Operating Room tech in Europe. Earned a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from NYIT, Old Westbury. Developed and ran a business for many years. Raised five children, and now have a gaggle of grandkids. Many thrills and spills along the way. Currently living in the Adirondacks and loving life on the sunny side of the daisies. Volunteering at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Had a virtual Waltoffer Elementary School reunion of sorts in the North Bellmore 11710 group a few weeks ago. Friends are reminding me of adventures and misadventures I suddenly remembered why I had forgotten them. The Roots experience can be therapeutic in an emotional roller coaster kind of way, but that's just me; never did well with boring. Dissecting a hundred shades of reality keeps it all very interesting. Be well.
