Al's Story
Life
I graduated in '72. I attended AUC for 2 years, biology major. I roomed with Jeff Cordone. I married Kathy Cavender (class of '73) in August 1974. We lived in S. Lancaster, MA for a short time, then moved to Union Springs for a short time. In November 1975 we moved to Dallas. In 1980 I started my own business. I started out by myself, working for contractors and home owner's doing interior carpentry installations. I built the business up to where I had to hire 15-20 people to be able to service three or more large projects at a time. We then graduated ...Expand for more
to providing all kinds of cabinetry for kitchens, entertainment centers, libraries, custom panels for interiors. We now have a 7500 sq. fot. facility with lots of great equipment. We specialize in high end residential and commercial interiors, architectural millwork and furniture as well as the installation.
Kathy and I have four sons, Rob-born in '77, Craig-born in '79, Jeff-born in '82 and Tony-born in '83.
We like to go RVing in the fifth wheel. We like to go to the Texas coast, East Texas piney woods, Hill country, San Antonio-Kerrville area--anywhere really.
