Al's Story
Married for forty-one years. Four children and five grandchildren. Retired Army living in North Carolina as our children went to college in states where we were stationed, and then they married there. Once we had grandchildren there was no chance to escape "Up North". ONLY science qualification). I have spent time as a high school athletic coach. My wife, a kindergarten teacher, and I retired two years ago. We are able to spend six to eight weeks in Maine each year and it is a relief from the south's heat and humidity. The biggest regret I have from high school is the narrow focus I had on athletics and the lost opportunity to have lived the normal high school experience. Lowell will always feel like home.
