Al's Story
Was hired by TWA as a pilot in 1965 and joined the flight operations management team a few years later. Flew 5 different aircraft before retiring for medical reasons in 1989.
Moved to DC shortly thereafter where I was VP of Flight Operations for ATA, the trade association that represents the major airlines.
Still do a little consulting, but basically retired and living with my wife, a former TWA flight attendant, and our chocolate Lab on the coast of Maine.

n the Navy and XO of a squadron in Hawaii. Daughter, a former teacher is now living in NJ with her husband three children and two funny little dogs. Our youngest is a doctor in Philly and is currently in his second year as a surgical resident. He is getting married in April.
We have a total of five grandchildren and hope that there are more to come.
Looking forward to our 50th. and thanks to all those who have worked hard to make it happen.
