Al's Story

August 2008 - Hey classmates! I signed up to see what folks have been doing all of these years. I left the area for Auburn University to finish my degree after spending what seemed like forever at GCCC. Must have changed majors three or four times while at Gulf Coast! Anyway, I moved to Charlotte, NC after graduation and stayed there for eight years doing engineering work before heading back to Florida. My sister Lynne (also class of '76) followed me to Charlotte after a few years and still lives there with her husband and five children. All are doing well. I been back in the Bay County area for about 17 years no...Expand for more
w and manage the engineering and utilities departments for Panama City Beach. It's been a little crazy there due to the growth until this past year, but the real estate bust has given us a little bit of a break for now. My parents are still here and brother Mike (class of '79) moved back a couple of years ago. I have a great 21 year old son, Andrew, who is a firefighter now for Panama City. I enjoy travelling when I get the chance, or anything new and different. NYC, Chicago, Vegas, the mountains or anywhere in Europe top my list of places to go. Life is good and gets better every year. Hope yours is good as well.
