Alan's Story
Wow... lot's of stuff... but... after high school tried to be a music major and discovered drummers shouldn't be music majors (or at least this one shouldn't). I met my girlfriend who at Disney where I was working and she was going to Chapman. Decided to apply there, and to my surprise, got in. I majored in Technology and Accounting. Upon graduation, became part of a start up software company. Grew the company and sold it. he world and give technology speeches and run our acquisition and technologies organization so I am now the CTO/EVP there. I have traveled to almost every part of the world with Vision.
On the personal side, I have been married 25 years this year. I have a great daughter who is 21 and a senior at SFU, a 18 year old son (guitarist) who is a freshman in college and a 12 year old son in the sixth grade. Still live in So Cal, though I did move to the beach in San Clemente because it's much cooler (weather wise) than Fullerton.
On the real personal side, I still play drums, and have been blessed that I have my own recording studio in my house, play and record with bands regularly, and for an old guy, I still love playing and escaping the stresses of the real world through my music. I am fortunate to have a spouse that put's up with my music hobbie.
