Alan's Story
Life
Still run just about every day. Work as a self-employed computer consultant mostly, and write quite a bit of software. On many weekends, we (Becky and I) provide computerized results to about 40 triathlons, road races and cross-country meets in Illinois and surrounding states. We helped with the Millennium Marathon in New Zealand on January 1, 2000, but only got to visit NZ for about 10 days ...Expand for more
- not nearly enough time to see all there is to see. We got a chance to go back in March of 2004 for the Ironman New Zealand (at Taupo), and would love to return for more.
We also enjoy playing Duplicate Bridge once a week at a local Bridge Club, and at an occasional tournament.
In 2007, Becky set a National age group record at the National Senior Games 5K in Louisville; she's a darn good runner!
