Alan's Story

Alan currently lives in St. George, Utah. Alan is married to Pamela Roundy Bassett formerly from Payson Utah. Alan attended Davis High School from 1963 - 1966. After serving in the Army for three years and meeting his future wife while stationed at Fort Rucker Alabama, Alan and Pam were married and attended Weber State University together. Later Alan attended University of Utah (Business Management), and then recently Dixie State University (Major: History). In 1971 Alan hired on as an Air Traffic Controller with...Expand for more
the Federal Aviation Administration. He was with the FAA for 33 years working in Salt Lake, Minneapolis, and New York. He retired in 2004 and moved to Saint George Utah, where Alan worked as a real estate appraiser, as owner of Appraisal Express Inc. He retired from that business in 2014. Currently Alan & Pam enjoy traveling and spending time with their five children and fourteen grandchildren. Their oldest granddaughter is serving an LDS mission to Argentina and the second oldest grandchild is a student at UVU.
