Alan's Story
I graduated from "That Bobcat Fight Never Dies" Cy Fair High School in Houston, TX. I moved on to college at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Started working for Shell Oil as a Communications Engineer. With Shell, I moved to California and New Orleans, then back to Houston. I've been with Shell for 29 years (2008).

I found my passion for riding bicycles. I've been an amateur racer and now I'm a fully certified USA Cycling Coach. My passion is long distance riding. I've ridden across the USA twice and numerous other multiday rides. I'm currently the ride director for Tour Du Rouge, a 6 day ride from Houston to New Orleans.
Married to Melani for 22 years and have 2 children - Austin and Jennifer.
