Alan's Story
Life
I'm the dad of two great kids. Emily and Andrew.
I'm a Marketing Consultant specializing in advising small businesses with their full range of marketing efforts. I'm having a great time. I'm transitioning from 20 years of industrial sales and marketing in a very technical, complicated sales arena.
I'm a Motivational Speaker, Small business entrepreneur and advisor, and Tradeshow marketing trainer.
College
I went to college at the University of Colorado in Boulder. I started in Political Science and then quickly transfered over to ...Expand for more
the Business School. I caught the Marketing bug and took almost all of the Marketing classes available. I still took a lot of Political Science classes. I participated in the CUAMA group as well as many others. I worked at a shoe store most of the way through college.
I gradutated with a Bachalor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. If minors had been allowed, I would have had minors in Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Political Science.
I loved my time at CU and developed some great friendships.
