Alan's Story

Life Life since college: teacher, regular ed., special ed., and alternative ed - full time musician from 1975-1988, traveling the folk circuit in the Midwest and singing on the West Michigan bar scene - folk band organizer from 1982 to present. nections with my female classmates at our 30th reunion than I did. Now he's 22 and working in the building trades.. He's now 6'4", 250 lbs.. His hands and feet are as big as mine. and he participates in local basketball league. I retired from teaching in Sept. 2013. I stay active in music, playing for whomever calls and serving as the president of the Grand River Folk Arts Society. "The gods do not deduct from man's time on earth the hours spent in music."
