Alan's Story
Turning 45 in 2008... well over a dozen times in my life I thought I had it all figured out... What I have learned however is that I only and pathetically human. Every time time I find myself looking in the mirror, wondering "how did I get here?", "how did that happen?", why he/she do that?", "why did I do that?", and finally "what now?"... I close my eyes and quiet my heart and the only thing, the only One that matters, the who is first to last, who , in Him, all things were created and have they being, the faithful One - The person of Jesus Christ speaks to me to remind that the only consistent thin...Expand for more
g in my life - in all of its events, in all of its relationships, in all of its trials, in all of its triumphs, in all of its failures, in all of its joys and in all of its sorrows - is me.
The buck stops here. The truth is His promise, we have EVERYTHING we could ever need and everything (and more than) we could ever disire in Him. To everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE - big & small) that made my life in High School (and beyond) so magnificent - thank you and I pray you recieve the greatest gift this universe has to offer - the love & the grace & the life that comes with knowing Christ!
