After graduation from AHS, I attended Texas A&M and the University of Texas at Arlington, earning two degrees in geology. Then I worked in Dallas and Denver, CO, for seven years with Hunt Oil Company and married Lisa Woods (AHS-class of 1973). I changed jobs to ARCO International, lived in California for five years, we had one child, Sean, and divorced in 1986; Lisa died shortly after. I then moved to Indonesia in 1989 and married Penny Watson (AHS class of 1967), the mother of my three step-children from whom I have ten grandchildren. We lived in Indonesia for six years, then I moved the family to New Zealand which was our home for the next 17 years and where my son and two stepchildren still live with their families.
