Alan's Story
Life
I'm currently a consulting software architect. I have been a mobile telephony product manager and standards architect (co-wrote the MMS standards), campus-wide network and systems manager, and software developer. I'm also private pilot, and father of four kids (married twice).
I'm living in sunny southern California, in a growth-limited, beautiful coastal town.
School
Being an Air Force "b...Expand for more
rat", I attended each school for no more than three years, until college at the U of MD.
College
College at the U of MD was hectic, fun, and challenging -- I completed all my GED and major requirements in my first two years, and ended up taking several languages (Russian, Japanese, and Spanish) as well as most of the PE courses in my last two years -- and working a 20 hr/week computer programming job.
