Alan's Story
Life
Before all the where-am-I-now stuff, I have to tell you about my class ring. I lost it a year or so after graduation. In 2002, I was contacted by someone who's mom now lives in our old house. Turns out he found my ring in the ditch. After replacing the stone and some polishing, it looks like new. I got my ring when I came up for Mr. Nelson's retirement concert.

home, but my family is from north Louisiana. North Carolina's Piedmont Triad area i my new home. I'm a Web Producer for myFOX8.com, the FOX TV affiliate in the Greensboro-High Point-Winston-Salem area. I worked here in the early 90s and jumped at the chance to return. I stumbled into journalism after giving up plans to become one the world's greatest band directors. I still play, as the timpanist for the Greensboro Concert Band.
No childrem but a significantly better half (Susan).
