Alan's Story
Started in broadcasting at ABC. Had memorable moments with Paul Harvey, Fahey Flynn, Howard Cosell and Frank Gifford. Introduced weatherman Tom Skilling to John Coleman. Had great fun and palled around for years with Jeff Skilling when the world was a more simple place. Blew my chance in the early 80's to have a private meeting with Warren Buffett due to a semi-crazy Admiral friend wanting to fly me to Omaha in a F-4 Phantom fighter jet. rs Club, Whitehouse Post Productions, and Glenwood Place Studios. Expanded the businesses to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Burbank, New York, Dallas, Nashville. London, and Angers in France. Loved aviation and bought my first Learjet over 25 years ago before private aviation became a big deal. For fun bought an FBO at the Kenosha Airport in Kenosha Wisconsin to watch the planes come and go in my later years. Had enough with Illinois weather and taxes, and became a Florida resident in Boca Grande twelve years ago. Can't believe we're in the 4th quarter.
