Alan's Story
I went to the original Lakota High School from 8th -12th grade, graduating in 1970. My favorite teacher there was Mr. Bryson.

After HS, I went to Miami U for a year, then dropped out and joined the Air Force for 4 years. I received trained in electronics and computer maintenance, and was stationed in Great Falls, MT.Learned to ski there, the best snow I've ever seen.
After getting out of the Air Force, I went back to college at the University of Akron where I obtained a B.S. in electrical engineering. Then I went to Purdue to get a masters in EE. After that, I got a job in Silicon V...Expand for more
alley where I've been living and working ever since. I am married and we have one child, a daughter who is currently in her second year in college. She is majoring in biopsychology, a relatively new field.
I've been very busy at work the past few years, working on a project to develop a new capability. We did flight testing and calibration in June of 2010, and then I went into theater with it for 2 weeks in July. That was a very interesting and successful trip.
I believe in science, math, and technology. I still believe that all religions are a fantasy and that they do society more harm than good. Fundamentalist Christians and the Taliban are two good examples. Think for yourself and question everything.
