Alan's Story
After high school I graduated from Allegheny College in 1959. In 1960 I got my MBA from Michigan State U. I then went to work for the US Army, General Services Admin in Washington DC, Computer Sciences Corp in Huntsville, AL working on Army and NASA programs, At that time (1967) I got married to my wife Dorothy. I then went to work for the Navy at the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, CA where I eventually became the Head of the Cost Analysis Division.. I retired from the Navy in 1970.. njoy reading books, and playing bridge and tennis several times a week. Its also nice to be able to have a second cup of coffee and read the newspaper after I first get up. Dorothy and I have two children Edward and Melodie. Also two lovely grand daughters Kayla and Jenna. Kayla is going to the University of San Fransisco in the fall. We currently live in Bakersfield, CA. which we love. We also have mountain home north of Las Angeles (Pine Mountain Club) which we like to go to in the hot summer months.
