Alayna's Story
Life
I am the Director of Human Resources for a souvenir company in Los Angeles County. I live in Eagle Rock, which is near Pasadena. I got married to my wonderful husband, Russell Nord on May 17, 2009! We want to buy a house in this area before the market starts to climb again. We have a vacation home in Yucca Valley to escape from LA ¿city life¿. We do not have children yet, but hope to start once we feel ready (from what I have heard you never feel ready, but we are not really "there¿ yet). I have great friends and I am really happy. =_) We like to travel. We went to the Gran Canary Islands and Spain for our honeymoon. We LOVED SPAIN and hope to see more of Europe. Most days I love my job, which I have held for the past 5 years. I was a HR Manager prior to that in the healthcare industry for 5 years. Life is...Expand for more
good! I would love to hear updates on my favorite ¿Spartans¿ from High School. I tried to put together a 10 year reunion, but did not get enough of an interest level/financial commitment to further pursue it. Reservations were made in a banquet room at Casino Morongo and it would have been a blast! Only one person paid by the deadline (thank you Carla Crespo). Her money was returned. Maybe there will be more interest at the 20 year mark. I hope someone gets inspired to start the ball rolling. Isn¿t it our class President¿s responsibility to organize our reunions? I thought that was the payment for getting that little extra ¿title¿ on your transcript/resume. ¿I¿m just saying¿! (It was a lot of work to put things together and thank you to those who helped. I would be happy to be on a committee in the future).
