Alba's Story

Dear Everett High School Class of 1947 Classmates, It is with a heavy heart that I have to report that Alba T. Sartiano (Pagnini) passed away on 20 April 2015. She passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family and friends in Santa Rosa, California. Our family is planning a memorial service for her in June in Revere, Ma but the exact date is yet to be determined. Once that date is finalized, we will submit an obituary to the Boston Globe. ttended and graduated from Simmons College in 1951. Upon graduation from Simmons, she embarked upon a 30 year career as an Operations Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency and spent many years abroad to include duty in Tokyo, Honolulu, Taipei, Rome, and West Berlin. She is survived by her husband COLONEL (retired) Joseph F. Sartiano (Santa Rosa, California), her daughter Rina Gibbons(Sebestopol, California and son Joseph F. Sartiano, Jr. (Washington, DC).
