Albert's Story
I am one of the many people who can proudly say that I have worked hard for everything I have.
I was not born with a "silver spoon in my mouth."
I didn't marry into money.
I've been married to my 2nd (and LAST) wife for 11 years.
We have a dog and 5 cats, and enough land for them to run around on without a fence to keep them in.
We live in the country, 3 1/2 miles from the nearest asphalt road. I have plans, in the near future, to have a new house built from the foundation up. I also plan to try to buy 25 acres that join our...Expand for more
back fence and 2 acres that join our driveway. That will give us the whole corner between 2 roads.
Except for 1 "man" and his wife, all of our neighbors are good people.
I write poems (my wife has written 1, I have 17 or 18) and I have written 4 songs that nobody outside of my family, or the church, may ever hear. I have the start of a new waltz tune in my head. Maybe some day, I'll put it on paper and see what other people think about it.
I'm working on 2 Western books. Maybe after I retire, I can have time to finish them.
