Albert's Story
Life
In 1964 I moved from Miami to Key Largo, and graduated from Coral Shores School in 1966. Joined the Army a month later. Spent the next 26yrs in the Army, retiring in 1993 as a Master Sergeant. Stationed in Korea ('66-67),Vietnam('68-69), Hawaii ('69-72),Panama ('74-79), In 1973 I Attended the Defense Language Institute in Montery California to learn Spanish, El Paso, Texas in 66, 67-68, 72-73, Virginia (82-85), Germany (86-90), taught classes at ROTC at Youngstown State Univ in Ohio (1979-1982), Ft. Lewis Washington (90-93). Started collecting insects and butterflies in Panama. Collection now over 100,000 specimens, most are from my 5+ years living in Panama and collecting trips to Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, French Guiana, Colombia, and Guatemala. in late 1992 and married in May 1993. I had not seen her for about 29 yrs (since she was 12 or 13 yrs old). Her and her family moved in to the house behind ours in North Miami when she was 4 and I was 8. They were our neighbors in the mid-50's/early 60's in Miami. We were never boyfriend/girlfriend, but both of us had been searching for each other for about 28 yrs. My email is ALBERT214 on AOL. What's new with my former classmates?
For the class of 1966 -
Does anyone remember the day I got into trouble with Mr. Gillette, then Mr Beck had us set up something with me and Tommy Wrenn fighting in his class? I won't say what happened in this posting, but it was the last day of school before the Christmas break in Dec 1965. You all should know that no one ever said anything about it. As far as I know, Gillette, Beck, and the other 2 biology teachers involved did not report it to anyone in the school administration.
