Alberta's Story
Life
I have lived 2/3 of my life in Colorado---metro Denver area. Four grown children (2 daughters, 2 sons), 5 grandchildren (3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons). Have been retired for almost 11 years now. Divorced from my children's father in 1982 after almost 25 years of marriage. Have partnered with Gordon for 20 years now. Gordon and I attended his 50th HS reunion in the spring of 1998 and we both attended mine in the fall of 1998. Very much enjoyed my 50th HS reunion and look forward to the 60th. His daughters both live in Florida; one married with a daughter--G's only grandchild. Three of my four children and families live in Colorado. My youngest married a girl from Thailand and my newest grandaughter is almost 6 mos. old. Thoroughly enjoyed their visit here last month. 2003 while my younger daughter and her family were also living in Thailand for a few months.
Gordon and I have a timeshare in Mazatlan, MX; so travel there every year.
Together we, also, visit his daughters in FL every year. He often goes more frequently.
Enjoy traveling and also living our lives here in the beautiful state of Colorado.
No immediate plans to get back to Massachusetts. Will be going to Seattle for a few days later this week; Florida late November/early Dec., and Mazatlan late Jan./early Feb.
My sister, Janet still lives in Lowell and I have many neices, nephews, grandneices and grandnephews in MA as well as other relatives and old friends.
Am wondering who requested my bio?? As I said, I throughly enjoyed my 50th HS reunion and am interested in knowing about my classmates. I do keep in touch with a couple of them.
