Alberta's Story
I left Glendora at 21 yrs. old and moved to N.California. I had a hard time adjusting to country life vs. city at the beginning. But, now I love it and would never go back to live in the LA area again.
I manage to get down there once a year especially to visit the beach and friends. The best job in the world to me was being a mom.
I have 3 children, Elyse 30, Kym 25, Danny 23. Elyse has two children, Kym just got married to a CHP in Sept. 08.
She graduated as an RN a year ago. Danny is single and lives in central calif. I have been married for 20 yrs to a wonderful man. We are both involved in helping drug and alcohol addicts and run a faith- based sober living home...Expand for more
for men. It is a wonderful ministry and we enjoy seeing people's lives being changed from addictions and how God uses these same men to minister to otheres. We believe that life is for service. Helping God's people in need. I am also a nurse in the correctional setting. For fun my husband and I play golf with our kids and frinds. I play piano and guitar for fun as well.
My husband is an advid hunter and never misses a season.
Here is an interesting fact: Bryan Blank, Mark Beileck and Ray Larson are all Pastors who came from Glendora and 2of them graduated from Glendora High.
