Alberto's Story
After high school I went to college for a year then joined the armed forces. I served in Viet Nam for 18 months and then was assinged to San Antonio where I decided to make the military service a career. I served 24 years in the Air Force serving in several stateside bases and overseas before retiring. But since I had four kids still going to school I had to continue working. ently employed. I hope to be fully retired in about three more years when I will be eligible for Social Security benefits.
I've been happily married for 36 years with my high school sweetheart, the former Abigail Bocanegra. We both enjoy traveling and going to Las Vegas at least twice a year. We have been San Antonio Spurs season ticket holders for 13 years and really enjoy seeing our NBA home team win games and championships. I wish I had more hobbies beside walking and eating out but I guess that's me at my age right now.
