Alecia's Story
I left Kansas City in 1988 and moved to Washington, DC to be closer to my family.
I worked several years at the IRS Headquarters and then took a job at the Environmental Protection Agency where I have been since. In that time, I did contract work for the Clinton Administration, working as a speech writer for VP Al Gore on environmental issues.

ee to help provide recommendations and advice to EPA and Congress on financing and funding issues that affect our water and air issues. Lord knows we are destroying our beautiful planet.
I have a wonderful son, Joshua, who stands 6'3 and is a professional actor and model who runs back and forth from LA to NY but knows how to come home to see his mother.
I don't come to KC often but when I do I try to see as many of my friends as possible.
