Alecia's Story
I married a Surrattsville alumni from the class of 71, Daryl Haman. He had two kids (Amy and David from his first marriage) and we have two sons (Joshua and Thomas) together. In 2008 we became gramdparents. Joshua and his wife Natalie have a son named Briar Lee Haman (yes it is Briar not Brian). He was born November 13th. He is the new joy in our life.
I am still best friends with Susie Pigarut Dickerson and Sharon Robinson. We all live near each other and spend alot of time...Expand for more

Life has been good to me , my family and my friends. I try to repay by helping others and working with special needs kids. For the last twenty years I have been a teaching assistant at a school for severely emotionally disturbed adolesents. The school closed at the end of the 2008 school year. I now find myself working at Francis T. Evans Elementary school in a 3rd grade class. What a change!
I hope that all my old friends are doing well and that I hear from them.
