Aleta's Story
Life
I attended Kennedy High School during 1968 & 1969 while my dad was in Vietnam. I went to school with Robert Guber who lived across the street. David Curson also lived on our block. I took art classes with the "Green Man", Vaughn McLeod. My best friend was Marianne Axlerod, with whom I unfortunately lost touch.
In Dec. 1969 my dad was stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia so we left Willingboro. After graduating from Glenn Hills High School in Augusta, Ga., I attended Caldwell College in Caldwell, N.J. for a couple of years.

ook the opportunity to go there with my family. When I returned to the U.S. I stopped off in California and never left. I married my college sweetheart in March of 1979 and graduated from Cal-State Los Angeles with a BA in English in June of that year.
I now live in Ventura, CA with my husband, my daughter, 2 cats and 2 fish and am the Library Supervisor of the Oak View branch of the Ventura County Library system. In my spare time I photograph wildflowers, landscapes, wildlife and, on occasion, people. I post some of my images on Flickr as wanderingnome, so visit & say hi!
